One advantage you will get is that it's now 16 hours for Level 1 (Essential) Program and eight hours of Level 2 (Practitioner).  So, you can split that across one year, you don't have to go through 24 hours spread across 15 days in one go.
Yes, you got it correctly, one can attend at 16 hours, take a break, practise the ideas and again after five or six months, you can come back and sharpen the edge further. 
Earlier, our program was more like only "Chief Architect" please . But, now you can have your team members, middle level managers, professional with with 10 years to 15 years or senior Tech Engineers from 8 to 15 years can attend the Level 1 Essential Program,  it will, it is valuable to them. Additionally, there will be two to three interactions with Video. Our Appraisal team can communicate with your Project Team during the Video Calls.
The assessment team may have questions that are posted on My Architecture site. Customer team members (or key contact) will explain and respond to queries.

Our team will share the Assessment Questions, Checklist, Sample Models for Data gathering. The customer needs to assign one key contact, who will collect the information from internal stakeholders.
ICMG team members will work with the designated key contact only.

What is the Scope of your assessment? What will it cover and will not cover?

Accepted Answer

The scope of the assessment is limited to the ARCHITECTURE of the Project/Solution.
The customer will identify Use Cases / scenarios related to business goals, business process, system capability, technology maturity, implementation effectiveness and operational excellence.
Our findings and recommendations are solely based on the documents, models provided as a part of data gathering process.
Our team will rate various architecture models such business strategy models, business process models, system models, technology models, implementation models, operation models. Once completeness and consistency of each of the models (mentioned above) are rated, then we rate inter-relationship between these models in fulfilling business use cases. This helps in identifying the gaps and lapses.
It’s responsibility of the customer to ensure that project/solution related information are made available in a timely manner.
This assessment doesn’t cover
 • Testing Software code
 • Testing hardware, software features of the solution
 • Capacity testing, or
 • Testing deployment features provided by any vendors

Yes, it’s important to select one or more categories while making the submission.

Accepted Answer

Ratings will be provided in a Visual Dashboard Graphics (Gauge meters). There will be an overall rating for the project and individual ratings dashboard for each area (category) assessed.
